Concerts at Red Rocks
July 1st – 5th, in celebration of Independence Day, there will be nightly concerts from an amazing array of artists at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre! Not only will you get a show, but you will have a beautiful, world-famous view with the naturally formed walls of the amphitheater. No matter what kind of entertainment you’re looking for, you’ll find something that’s sure to please. The schedule of shows is as follows:

Cherry Creek Arts Festival
July 2nd – 4th, Denver’s visual, performing, and culinary arts come together to create this outdoor extravaganza! There is a wide range of family-friendly activities, from music, dancing, and theater, to sampling fine cuisine. There will even be a full block of fun activities, just for the little ones! The Cherry Creek Arts Festival is free and open to the public.

Liberty Run & Firecracker Kids Fun Run
The Liberty Run is a four mile run around the gorgeous Washington Park and the money raised benefits veterans. After the run there will be food and drinks as well as a free Firecracker Kids Fun Run for the little ones! It is a 4th of July tradition in the city of Denver, and they give prizes to not only race winners, but those with the most patriotic outfits! So get your red, white, and blue active wear together, and support a good cause. The prices for the Liberty Run are as follows:

Independence Day Eve Fireworks
If you’re looking for a little pre-Independence day celebrating, then look no further! Beginning at 8 pm there will be a concert, a light show, and an amazing fireworks finale. The seating is on the lawn and is first-come first-served, so bring your blankets and lawn chairs and get comfortable! There will be food available for sale, and picnics are more than welcome.

Fireworks at Elitch Gardens
Spend your Independence Day riding roller coasters and playing in the water! Once you’ve cooled down from the day, there will be fireworks for everyone to enjoy. This will be a fun day for the entire family! Online ticket prices are as follows:

Denver Outlaws Game
Enjoy an action-packed lacrosse game between the Denver Outlaws and the Florida Launch. Following the game there will be a spectacular fireworks show, featuring pyrotechnics and visuals on a 220 foot wide, high definition screen. You do not want to miss this! Tickets range from $26 to $57, depending on seating.

Denver Rapids Game
On July 4th, our very own Denver Rapids will be taking on the Portland Timbers in their annual Independence Day match! The Rapids are historically successful on Independence Day, and the game will be followed up with what is widely considered one of the best firework shows in the state. The match will be at Dick’s Sporting Goods Field. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm, with the fireworks immediately following the game. Tickets as of the posting of this article are $39-75, and can be purchased on the Rapids’ website at the following link:
